The Role

Based in Melbourne, Australia, we are looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and personable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you will help OFS grow our inbound and out bound lead-generation and qualification activities.

You will be an important link between the Marketing and Sales team by helping us identify and profile the leads most actively engaged with OFS content and marketing activity. You will then be responsible for following up these opportunities via a mixture of calling and implementing email nurture streams, that all help to assess their fit and stage in their buying journey. The aim of the role is help deliver the most relevant leads onto the Sales team and you will thrive on delivering positive contributions to the OFS team activities and culture.

About You

  • Ideally you have some experience in lead generation and qualification, or you have worked in a SaaS business and have a keen interest in technology solutions.
  • You will be an exceptional communicator: you’re concise, yet effective in both written and verbal communication; you can handle objections and move leads through the sales process.
  • Organised and Efficient: you can keep up-to-date with tasks and you are quick and effective at using a CRM to track customer interactions.
  • Ambitious and Driven: you can hustle; you’re happy to make lots of calls per day, spend plenty of time on the phone, and immersed in data identifying and driving sales opportunities.
  • Creative: you know there are many ways to reach people, and you’re creative in thinking about the best approach in any given situation.

What you'll do

  • Help generate qualified leads for the OFS Account Managers
  • Develop call, email and social outreach strategies with the Marketing team
  • Create, prioritise, and qualify strategic target account lists
  • Pitch the OFS Value Proposition, how it solves customers’ pain points, and handle objections clearly and efficiently
  • Document all activity in CRM accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with development and execution of marketing activity and content plans. Use marketing automation software (HubSpot) to set up email campaigns.
  • Assist with development of prospect email nurture streams.
  • Explore and identify opportunities to accelerate your lead pipeline

What we're looking for

A commercially/ sales and marketing communications specialist, with ideally;

  • 2+ year experience in lead generation and qualification
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A hunter mindset, tenacious and resilient
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • A self-starter, able to effectively manage and prioritise your time
  • Ability to identify business challenges and potential solutions
